For 33 years, Michele Gulino, the company's founder, was involved in industrial bioethanol production. Alarmed by the quality of raw materials and lack of sustainable initiatives, he decided to incorporate OFT and break down barriers to an industry that is otherwise mired in hurdles and tradition.
